I select "Add calendar" in the calendar view, then enter the URL to my CalDAV server (which is an Owncloud instance) in the "Download from" field. I then select OK and reload it. Korganizer gives me a warning that the certificate is invalid and indeed the certificate is the wrong one. Using Wireshark I found that whichever library is responsible for connecting to the CalDAV server does not include a Server Name Indication extension [1] in the Client Hello. My server (Apache2 with virtual hosting) then defaults to responding with a different certificate than the correct one. The URL to my server is https://cloud.antoneliasson.se/remote.php/caldav. Bug#760663: phonon-backend-gstreamer: Prevents Amarok from starting
On Mon, 8 Sep 2014 11:26:42 +0100 Franz Schrober wrote: I can confirm this problem. My temporary workaround was to install phonon-backend-vlc start `kcmshell4 phonon`, go through backend and switch it to vlc (move it as top entry). Trying it through systemsettings -> Multimedia didn't work because it froze with a similar problem as amarok. Removing gstreamer1.0 doesn't seem to be possible for me because I would have to remove essentially my whole system The new release, 4.8, is working correctly.
