Bug#793096: [meta-kde] kde-full and kde-standard cannot be installed due to Break-Depend cycles

2015-07-21 Thread Franz Schrober
Package: meta-kde
Version: 5:86
Severity: important

kde-standard depends on plasma-desktopthemes-artwork + plasma-workspace.
But plasma-workspace (KDE5) has a Breaks against
plasma-desktopthemes-artwork (KDE4)

kde-full depends on kdeartworks + kde-standard. kdeartworks is KDE4 and
depends on many packages which have an explicit Breaks from
plasma-desktop (KDE5). For example kscreensaver requires
kde-workspace-bin (KDE4) which is in conflict (Breaks) with
plasma-workspace. Also kdeartwork-style has a Breaks from
plasma-workspace. So maybe it is better to drop kdeartworks from
kde-full.

Bug#793105: plasma-workspace: krunner no longer searches $PATH

2015-07-21 Thread Salvo Tomaselli
Package: plasma-workspace
Version: 4:5.3.2-3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
after the last update of this package, krunner no longer searches $PATH
for binaries.

I can run a binary located in /usr/bin or in /bin but i can't run binaries in
~/bin that are in my $PATH and can be executed if I use a terminal.

This was working days ago, in Plasma5, it got broken afterwards.

Best

Please check the value of $PATH as it has changed on my system (I don't know

Bug#793115: ftp.debian.org: kdeartwork now contains only arch:all packages

2015-07-21 Thread Maximiliano Curia
Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal

kdeartwork packaging has been modified to include only arch all packages, as
the arch any packages are dependant on the kde4 environment that we are
migrating to plasma 5.

I wasn't aware that this change required an ftpmasters intervention, thus the
late mail about this.

Could you please allow kdeartwork to be upgraded?

Happy hacking,

Bug#793130: pidgin: No system tray icon on KDE Plasma 5

2015-07-21 Thread Diederik de Haas
Package: pidgin
Version: 2.10.11-1

KDE Plasma 5 no longer supports xembed based system tray icons and
therefor I can't minimize pidgin to the system tray any more.
By using libappindicator1 this should be fixed.

See

Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.
The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite
references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references
it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the
master archive and will not propagate to any mirrors until the next
dinstall run at the earliest.

Packages are usually not removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks
unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed
from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency
problems. The release team can force a removal from testing if it is
really needed, please contact them if this should be the case.

Bugs which have been reported against this package are not automatically
removed from the Bug Tracking System. Please check all open bugs and
close them or re-assign them to another package if the removed package
was superseded by another one.

The version of this package that was in Debian prior to this removal
can still be found using http://snapshot.debian.org/.

Hi Leonardo! Stable actually has *all* the Qt4 stack at version 4:4.8.6+git64-
g5dc8b2b+dfsg-3+deb8u1. So I see two possibilities:

1) You need to dist-upgrade your installation before installing paraview, and
you made a typo by writing +dfsg3+deb9a1.

2) You did not made a typo by writing +dfsg3+deb9a1 and you got an unnoficial
Qt4 version from somewhere else.

In both cases this is not a Debian bug but, I'm afraid, a problem on your
side.

I'm so closing this bug.

Kinds regards, Lisandro.

Package: libqt4-sql
Severity: normal
Tags: d-i

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

 trying to install paraview

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?

intstalling either with dselect or apt-get

   * What was the outcome of this action?

most modules complains: that the dependency is unmet. Could be possible is
a question of naming of libqtcore4 (that in jessie now is …+dfsg3 while
modules ask for …+dfsg3+deb9a1 ? )

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Having program installed, of course
