Package: libkf5networkmanagerqt6
Version: 5.25.0-1
Severity: important
File: networkmanager

Dear Maintainer,

Updating nm breaks its ability to connect to Wifi networks.

I am using a broadcom chip with the firmware-sta-dkms package installed.
It worked well until I updated to 5.25.0-1 when, although it saw the
wifi networks around me, it cannot connect to them (log attached)

A work around is to disable mac address randomization as described in
[1]. However while using this work around, the plasma widget in the
system tray shows that the network is not connected (the icon is the blank
wifi symbol with a question mark), however it is actually connected and
working.

I do not know if the fix that has been committed upstream [2] solves
this second issue or not.

Thanks
paddatrapper

Bug#859770: dolphin: Dolphin opens LibreOffice odt file with krarc plugin instead of with Writer

2017-04-07 Thread Sander van Grieken
Package: dolphin
Version: 4:16.08.3-3
Severity: normal

When clicking on an .odt file in Dolphin, with Krusader also installed
(provides krarc qt plugin), Dolphin opens the .odt file using the krarc plugin
instead of Writer.
Probably other file types are affected as well

Package: konsole
Version: 4:15.12.1-1
Severity: important

Hi everyone,

I have tried konsole from unstable and experimental, but in both cases
I see the following misbehaviour:
* edit current profile
* set font to my preferred Lucida Console DK
* set size to 16pt
* be happy
* close all instances of konsole
* start a new konsole session
* font is wrong ...

Wrong means: too big, horizontal spacing wrong.

I can provide screenshots if necessary.

Thanks for keeping KDE alive in Debian!

Norbert

Seems to be fixed, I couldn't reproduce it anymore (although since I am
using cinnamon now, I am not regularly on KDE). konsole now remembers
the font and the spacing remains the same.

Thanks for the update, closing then. Not sure about the version.

Happy hacking,
