Outdated ok, but if it's buggy then please say which actual issues
there are (since they might affect stable, for example).

Anyway, it is already worked on (by me), see
https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/kexi_1:3.0.1.1-1.html
(sadly, Debian bureaucracy at its finest blocks it in the NEW queue...)

Please note that bugs.debian.org tracks bug for Debian only, not for
derivatives. In this specific case the version is old in Debian as
well, but otherwise it would invalidate the bug. FYI.

Bug#871395: transition: qtbase-opensource-src

2017-08-07 Thread Lisandro Damián Nicanor Pérez Meyer
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: transition

Hi RT! Normal request for a Qt transition slot.

Dmitry took the time to check all reverse dependencies and created
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?users=debian-qt-kde@lists.debian.org;tag=qt5.9

>From all this ones all are fixed except one which has a patch available.

As somewhat "normal" with a Qt transition we have two "tracks":

title = "qtbase-opensource-src";
is_affected = .depends ~ "qtbase-abi-5-7-1" | .depends ~ "qtbase-abi-5-9-1";
is_good = .depends ~ "qtbase-abi-5-9-1";
is_bad = .depends ~ "qtbase-abi-5-7-1";

And:

title = "qtdeclarative-opensource-src";
is_affected = .depends ~ "qtdeclarative-abi-5-7-0" | .depends ~
"qtdeclarative-abi-5-9-1";
is_good = .depends ~ "qtdeclarative-abi-5-9-1";
is_bad = .depends ~ "qtdeclarative-abi-5-7-0";

Thanks in advance, Lisandro.

Package: qbs
Version: 1.8.1+dfsg-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hello!

Qbs always freezes when trying to build. I straced it and found out it was
looking for qbs_processlauncher in the wrong place (/usr/libexec/qbs/ instead
of /usr/lib/${DEB_HOST_MULTIARCH}/qbs/ where it is installed).

Snippet of the strace log:
execve("/usr/bin/../libexec/qbs/qbs_processlauncher",
["/usr/bin/../libexec/qbs/qbs_proc"..., "/tmp/qbs_processlauncher-5136"], [/*
81 vars */] = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)

I tried setting adding
QBS_RELATIVE_LIBEXEC_PATH=../lib/${DEB_HOST_MULTIARCH}/qbs to the qmake command
line but it broke some tests as it couldn't find qbs_processlauncher.

Bug#871309: Support rootless X with SDDM for buster

2017-08-07 Thread Moritz Muehlenhoff
Source: sddm
Severity: wishlist

Hi,
starting with stretch xorg-server has been fixed to allow to run X as
an unprivileged user. This currently works fine for sessions initiated
by GDM3 and for anyone starting X11 through startx.

SDDM however still initiates the session with X11 running as root. For the
buster release ideally we should fix all the remaining login managers to use
unprivileged X11; this would essentially neutralise the majority of
all vulnerabilities in Xorg (since all those vulnerabilties which currently
allow privilege escalation root would no longer cross trust boundaries).

This has been reported upstream at https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/246
and there's an older pull request at https://github.com/sddm/sddm/pull/673
as well (but it hasn't seen recent activity).

Cheers,
Moritz

Bug#871265: qtdeclarative-opensource-src: please backport patch to fix failing tests with gsettings-qt

2017-08-07 Thread Boyuan Yang
Source: qtdeclarative-opensource-src
Version: 5.7.1-2
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-CC: pkg-deepin-de...@lists.alioth.debian.org

Hello,

I would like to request backporting a patch from Qt 5.8+ back to Qt 5.7.1 in
Stretch (and probably currrent Testing) in order to fix FTBFS for (currently
ITP) package gsettings-qt [1] (LP: #1624251 #1706682)

Package "gsettings-qt" is a base dependency for various Deepin software, on
which pkg-deepin team is working. This bug is blocking our work process now.

Ubuntu already backported this patch in 5.7.1-1ubuntu1~7.

The patch (and the unittest attached with it) can be found on Qt Code Review:
https://codereview.qt-project.org/#/c/177422

For Debian Unstable/Testing, it would be great if you could add the patch from
upstream so that we could continue with the ITP process for package
"gsettings-qt". Since Qt 5.9 might be uploaded onto unstable at some certain
time, you may instead close this bug when Qt 5.9 enters unstable.

For Debian Stretch, I would suggest making a stretch-pu so that this bug would
not block future backporting.

Thanks, and please let me know your opinion on it.

¡Hola Arthur!

This is a known issue, please disable the flat-volumes option in
pulseaudio adding a line:

flat-volumes = no
to /etc/pulse/daemon.conf

Happy hacking,
