As said in :

Please pretty please ping me about this after the transition ends, in case I
  happen to forget it.

Well, I did forget it and we started a transition yesterday. Doing it now will
simply not help to achieve the transition, so please ping me after we finished
it.

Thanks, Lisandro.

Bug#904688: qttools-opensource-src: FTBFS: please drop the libclang-dev B-D on some architectures

2018-12-27 Thread John Paul Adrian Glaubitz
Hello!

Would it be possible that the patch from David [1] gets included in the
next upload with the dependencies adjusted in debian/control for the
affected architectures?

I know the patch isn't perfect, but it helps us unblocking the reverse
dependencies of qttools. Currently, I have manually build qttools with
the patch and re-upload every the Qt team uploads a new qttools version
which feels like a sisyphos task [2].

I have to do it again now :-(.

Adrian

Bug#917293: Fix uploaded, but workaround neededuntil Qt is fixed

2018-12-27 Thread Lisandro Damián Nicanor Pérez Meyer
The root of this issue seems to be:

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=917167

Arguably kinit's code needed a fix, which has been uploaded but it
will not get built until the Qt transition is sorted out.

In the meantime you can use the workaround described in the link
above: either update systemd or add a file to configure it.

Cheers, Lisandro.

Package: kinit
Version: 5.51.0-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

When I want to enter the KDE, it takes me a lot to finish the session. It
consumes CPU and it takes, like an average of between 3 and 5 minutes to give
me session control.

I have tried creating another user and do the same.

This bug has been playing for a week now. And it's pretty weird What I
consider, that is a BUG, for that reason, and it is of great importance.

With htop I checked what it consumes, with this command when starting the
graphical environment:

kdeinit5 --oom-pipe 4 --kded +kcminit_startup

I thought there was a package missing, but no. I do not miss any package in
important dependencies.

This has never happened to me. In my life.

Thank you very much for your help.

Bug#917439: ksysguard: Please switch Build-Depends to libsensors-dev from libsensors4-dev

2018-12-27 Thread Aurelien Jarno
Source: ksysguard
Version: 4:5.14.3-1
Severity: wishlist
User: aure...@debian.org
Usertags: libsensors-dev-transition

Dear maintainer,

ksysguard build-depends on libsensors4-dev, the development package
from lm-sensors. For historical reasons the development package is
versioned. Following the transition of the library to libsensors5,
it makes sense to rename the development package to libsensors-dev.

In that regard a "Provides: libsensors-dev" has been added. Given
ksysguard uses a non-versioned Build-Depends it is already safe
to transition your package to use libsensors-dev instead of
libsensors4-dev.

There is no urgency (yet) to do the change, but it would be nice if
you can piggyback that change in the next upload. It should just be
a matter of running:

  sed -i -e 's/libsensors4-dev/libsensors-dev/g' debian/control

Thanks,
Aurelien

There is the transition to Qt 5.11.3 currently ongoing (started
yesterday). Please be patient, this will be handled as part of it.
