Bug#946082: should depend on shiboken2

2019-12-03 Thread Tommaso Colombo
Package: libshiboken2-dev
Version: 5.13.2-2
Severity: important

Since PySide 5.13, the CMake files shipped in libshiboken2-dev have a
dependency on the /usr/bin/shiboken2 executable. If the shiboken2 package is
not installed, find_package(Shiboken2) fails in CMake.

Installing shiboken2 fixes the issue.

This breaks the build of packages which build-depend on libshiboken2-dev. For
example:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=freecad=amd64=0.18.4%2Bdfsg1-1%2Bb1=1574113872=0

How to reproduce:

$ cat > CMakeFiles.txt
find_package(Shiboken2)
^D

$ cmake -Wno-dev .

Bug#946073: libkf5kiocore5: Several KDE applications crash when creating multiple nested new folders in the save as dialog.

2019-12-03 Thread Bernhard Übelacker
Package: libkf5kiocore5
Version: 5.54.1-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch upstream

Dear Maintainer,
in the last year I hit a few crashes with kate,
without knowing how to reproduce the crash.

Today I found this upstream reports [1] and several
duplicates. With that information it was easy to reproduce
the crash by just creating several nested folders in the
save as dialog of okteta.

It got fixed upstream in [2] and is included in
upstream version 5.63.0.

As this may affect all users of the KDE save as dialog,
this might be considered for inclusion to stable?

Kind regards,
Bernhard

Bug#946044: dolphin/kio: notification of file copy/move operations still depends on old kde4 packages

2019-12-03 Thread Antonio
Package: kio
Version: 5.62.1-2
Severity: normal

Dear maintainer,
why do the notification operations related to copying / moving a file
depend on old packages of kde 4:14?

If I remove these packages (previous release 4:4.14.38): "kate-data
katepart kdelibs-bin kdelibs5-data kdelibs5-plugins kdoctools
libgpgme++2v5 libkatepartinterfaces4 libkcmutils4 libkde3support4
libkdeclarative5 libkdecore5 libkdesu5 libkdeui5 libkdewebkit5
libkdnssd4 libkemoticons4 libkfile4 libkhtml5 libkio5 libkjsapi4
libkjsembed4 libkmediaplayer4 libknewstuff3-4 libknotifyconfig4
libkntlm4 libkparts4 libkpty4 libkrosscore4 libktexteditor4 libplasma3
libsolid4 libthreadweaver4"

I get these results:
- on notebook: no problem, view the animation of the circle in the system tray
- on desktop: I no longer see the animation in the system tray but a separate
window appears.

Where is the problem?

Thanks,
Antonio
