Bug#312315: kmail: kdepim-kio-plugins version should be sepecified in Recommends

Pity, although at least the relationship would then show up in aptitude as not being fulfiled. > A possibility would be a <<-versioned conflicts, but that seems a bit > excessive. Hmm, difficult. Well, anyone who has a partial 3.3/3.4 system is asking for trouble and probably only has it because they missed some packages that needed upgrading. So I would say the conflict would be useful for a larger group of people (those who forgot to upgrade some packages vs. those who really want a hybrid 3.3/3.4). That's just my opinion, I'll leave it up to you to make the call Thanks Chris

This doesn't solve the problem for Woody backports of OOo installed on a Woody machine with KDE < 3.2. OOo has to provide these files somehow. I would suggest that OOo does the diverting instead of KDE. That should work in past and future scenarios. Once Woody is obsolete we can remove the diversion, and the files. Chris
Bug#237260: patch to fix error
Package: kdelibs-bin Version: 4:3.2.1-1 Severity: normal Followup-For: Bug #237260 Hi, I got this on both my machines too. Here's a patch of the changes I made to get this working again. The replacewith documentation says this: replacewith($s, $replace, $with) Search $s for occurrences of characters from string replace, and replace them by the corresponding character in $with. Example: replacewith("hello $world, %dir", "$% ", "123") returns: "hello31world,32dir" So each character in the $replace string needs a corresponding character in the $with string.
