Bug#320477: kpdf fails to make links usable

2005-07-29 Thread Christian Kurz
Package: kpdf
Version: 4:3.3.2-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

today I've noticed that kpdf fails to make links usable. I've noticed
that when I open my document, with xpdf, I can click for example on a
link in the table of contents and xpdf will jump to the page where the
chapter starts. kpdf fails to make those links available. Please
enhance kpdf to also make links usable. Thanks.

Bug#303626: Fails to print pages in proper order

2005-04-07 Thread Christian Kurz
Package: kpdf
Version: 4:3.3.2-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

I'm trying to use kpdf to print some scripts for my studies. To save
space, I select the option to print 4 pages on one sheet. kpdf will then
always use landscape format instead of portrait. It will then order the
pages like this:

 3 1
 4 2

The proper order of the pages instead would be:

 1 3
 2 4

Please fix kpdf to print the pages in the correct order.

Bug#303629: Please support frames around multiple pages

2005-04-07 Thread Christian Kurz
Package: kpdf

Hi,

please offer an option to print frames around multiple pages on one
sheet. That would make it easier to distinguish between those pages.
Thanks for considering.

Thanks for your fast answer to my bugreport. Currently I'm unable to

Bug#276758: Doesn't show rss feeds content for one configured feed

2004-10-16 Thread Christian Kurz
Package: knewsticker
Version: 4:3.3.0-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

I've configured knewsticker to show me two rss-feeds from the Guardian
Website. One feed is for the Guardian frontpage
(http://www.guardian.co.uk/rssfeed/0,15065,1,00.xml) and the second one
for the WorldLatest news
(http://www.guardian.co.uk/rssfeed/0,15065,12,00.xml). But whenever I
now look at the available news. I will only see new articles shown for
the second feed. The first feed will never show me any articles at all.
Please take a look why knewsticker is ignoring configured RSS feeds.

Bug#232409: kconfigbackend.cpp seems to parse binary files as configuration files

2004-02-12 Thread Christian Kurz
Package: kdelibs4
Version: 4:3.1.5-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

today I started to examine my .xsession-errors file. I noticed a lot of
error messages like this:

Invalid entry (missing ']') at /usr/bin/gaim:2

The line number and the exact missing character are varying. I then
asked on #debian-kde for help and one user was able to help me a bit. We
figured out that the error message seems to occur because I'm starting
gaim automatically when I log into KDE. The other person did start gaim
manually. I then searched around and found a bugreport against RedHat
about the same error message but with a different application. Further
searches lead me to the file kconfigbackend.cpp which contains the error
messages. I then figured out that it's the function
KConfigINIBackEnd::parseSingleConfigFile that is creating those
messages. I'm not a programmer, but the name strongly suggest to me that
it's used to parse configuration files for KDE. But for reasons unknown
to me, it's trying to parse a binary file as configuration file, which
looks broken to me. Please fix this, so that the function is only
parsing valid configuration files. Thanks.

Christian
