If I am just doing some stuff quickly and just need terminals and screen space 
I run 'xinit' then 'kwin&'

kwin is very usable as just a Window manager. Including it in update 
alternatives would rock. :)

Speaking from a user perspective I think it would be more beneficial to
have 3.2.1 in Sarge than 3.1.5 if it can be done.
