In case you're running Etch there's a backported package of version

Bug#393774: kmail: Crashed when moving mail and selecting target folder

2006-10-17 Thread Eike Sauer
Package: kmail
Version: 4:3.5.4-1+b1
Severity: normal

I just moved a mail from inbox to another folder. Accidentially,
I did sort of a double click on the target folder, so kmail tried
to move the message to the folder and change to the target folders
view at the same time. KMail crashed when trying this. Call stack
attached.
