This is explaining it. I got the solution now. It is just because of a relict of old kmail versions. You can safely close the bug. Everything is working fine now. Thank you very much for your help ! Dear maintainers, due to your hints I stopped kmail and deleted the FILES ~/Mail/drafts, ~/Mail/trash, ~Mails/sent-mails and ~/Mail/outbox. Then started kmail again and got four new DIRECTORIES with subdirectories "cur", "new" and "tmp". I suppose, this is the correct form, it should be. I am using kamil and my home directory now for several years (yes, Linux is real stable and now since 5 years I never had to reinstall), so I suppose, the mentioned FILES are a relict of an older version of kmail, aren`t they O.k., if everything is working fine now (as it strongly seems), how can I reimport my drafts ?
