So I filed a bug upstream, but that does not necessarily mean nothing
can be done in Debian. This bug probably touches other non-KDE packages
too - some googling turns up possible issues in glib, but it's all a
little unclear to me still.

nspluginviewer regularly hogs the CPU when visiting a page with
Flash. But even worse, the nspluginviewer process is usually left
behind when the browser tab in question is closed, thus requiring me
to kill it manually.

strace output from the nspluginviewer process amounts to some 300
