Bug#577759: This now affects unstable

2010-05-12 Thread David Kalnischkies
2010/5/11 Torsten Werner twer...@debian.org:
Are the apt maintainers working on it?

My diff is around for a while, it is even included in experimental,
we have no active maintainer of apt-ftparchive and nobody caring
to test give feedback, so is this really important/serious?
*just kidding*

Attached is a diff against +lenny1 which should fix it (i haven't even
compile-tested it by now), we will see if i can trick Michael into finding
the time for testupload - it is just that time is highly limited currently.

Best regards,

David Kalnischkies

2010-05-11 Thread Lucas Nussbaum
severity 577759 serious
thanks

This truncation of Sources prevents debmirror from mirroring kde-10n/unstable:

 sent 210 bytes received 551 bytes 1522.00 bytes/sec
total size is 0 speedup is 0.00
 pool/main/k/kde-l10n/kde-l1 missing
 Download completed in 413s.

I think that this makes this bug serious.

I wonder what does that mean for a bug assigned to ftp.debian.org? Is it
release critical? Should we remove ftp.debian.org from testing or
testing from ftp.debian.org?
*just kidding*

The current state is: we have a fix for apt in experimental but we need
an update in stable (and we typically require a stable point release
that includes the fixed version).

Are the apt maintainers working on it?

2010-05-09 Thread Steve Kowalik

severity 577759 important
kthxbye

This bug now impacts unstable, and worse, will impact people using
debmirror to mirror the sources of unstable.
