The reason is simple: they are used to find those binaries, but they are shipped in another package. Moreover those aren't really needed in all cases and arguably development files, so probably moving them makes more sense than making qtbase5-dev depend on qtbase5-dev-tools. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.0.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_AR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_AR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: qttools-opensource-src Source-Version: 5.5.1-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of qttools-opensource-src, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive. Bug#793347: CMake files for lupdate/lrelease should probably go in -dev-tools
Source: qttools-opensource-src Version: 5.4.2-2 Severity: normal Felix pointed out on IRC that the CMake files for linguist, namely everything under /usr/lib/a-t/cmake/Qt5LinguistTools/, should probably better shipped in qttools5-dev-tools instead of qtbase5-dev. The reason is simple: they are used to find those binaries, but they are shipped in another package. Moreover those aren't really needed in all cases and arguably development files, so probably moving them makes more sense than making qtbase5-dev depend on qtbase5-dev-tools. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.0.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_AR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_AR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qt-kde-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Re: cmake files
Hi, Files: cmake/* Copyright: UNKNOWN License: GPL-2+ more or less , yepp but with a corect copyright holders :) Licensecheck didn't bring any .cmake files even in tarball i use exists cmake directory. The problem is that licenscheck do not search for cmake files with standard settings. You have to say, explicitly to search for *.cmake files: licensecheck -r -m -c '.cmake' --copyright * Or go through all files on our own. Regards, sandro PS: You want a sample? This package is not a dependency of qtbase5-dev and in my opinion rightly. A possible solution could be to install the cmake file of Sql drivers at the same time than the Sql driver plugin.
