Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package herculesstudio.

 Package name: herculesstudio
 Version: 1.1.0-1
 Upstream Author: Jacob Dekel ja...@mvsdasd.org
 URL: http://www.mvsdasd.org/hercstudio/
 License: GPL
 Programming Lang : C++
 Section : otherosfs

It builds these binary packages:
herculesstudio - Hercules gui interface

I overrided debian-rules-ignores-make-clean-error lintian warning, for before
build, Makefile does not exist.

The upload would fix these bugs: 585510

My motivation for maintaining this package is:
HerculesStudio is the first gui frontend in Linux, it is easy to use, I use it
to study IBM z series mainframe knowledge, I think it use useful for others
too.

The package can be found on mentors.debian.net:
- URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/h/herculesstudio
- Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable main
contrib non-free
- dget
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/h/herculesstudio/herculesstudio_1.1.0-1.dsc

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.

Kind regards

octave3.2 FTBFS on s390

2010-07-03 Thread Thomas Weber
Hi,

[please cc me, I'm not subscribed]

the latest build of octave3.2 fails when linking:
https://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?pkg=octave3.2;ver=3.2.4-6;arch=s390;stamp=1274734997
g++ -shared -Wl,-soname -Wl,liboctinterp.so -o liboctinterp.so
pic/Cell.o pic/bitfcns.o pic/c-file-ptr-stream.o pic/comment-list.o

lots of files

pic/Array-os.o pic/Array-tc.o pic/oct-errno.o pic/builtins.o pic/ops.o
../libcruft/blas-xtra/pic/xerbla.o -L../liboctave -loctave -L../libcruft
-lcruft -lreadline -lncurses -ldl -lhdf5 -lz -lm -lgfortranbegin
-lgfortran -lX11 -lftgl -lfreetype -lz -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lGL -lGLU
collect2: ld terminated with signal 9 [Killed]

Are there any hints about what could cause this? Maybe
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=528485 ?

Thanks
Thomas
