l’homme souffrant. Une

either scalar values or (value, comment) tuples. In the case of
an

Package: gerris-mpi
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

gerris-mpi cannot currently be installed together with gfsview (because it
conflicts with the 'gerris' package which gfsview depends on). I believe that
this seriously affects the usability of the package because most users usually
want to both be able to run parallel jobs (i.e. use gerris-mpi) on their
multicore systems, and to visualise the results (using gfsview) on the same
system.

Actually, the simplest would be to only provide a single (MPI) version of
gerris rather than the current serial and MPI packages. Running the MPI version
on a single core should not affect performance compared to the serial version.

thanks again,

Stephane

Bug#820450: yade: FTBFS with glibc 2.23: 'isnan' was not declared in this scope

2016-05-22 Thread Graham Inggs
Control: reopen -1
Control: notfixed -1 1.20.0-9

Hi Anton

It seems Gert's patch was included in 1.20.0-9, but with my name on it.

1.20.0-9 FTBFS on the Ubuntu buildds with the following error:

In file included from
/«PKGBUILDDIR»/lib/triangulation/FlowBoundingSphere.hpp:170:0,
 from
/«PKGBUILDDIR»/debian/build/pkg/pfv/FlowEngine_FlowEngineT.hpp:39,
 from /«PKGBUILDDIR»/pkg/dem/TriaxialStressController.cpp:22:
/«PKGBUILDDIR»/lib/triangulation/FlowBoundingSphere.ipp: In member
function ‘virtual void
CGT::FlowBoundingSphere<_Tesselation>::gaussSeidel(CGT::Real)’:
/«PKGBUILDDIR»/lib/triangulation/FlowBoundingSphere.ipp:898:20: error:
there are no arguments to ‘isinf’ that depend on a template parameter,
so a declaration of ‘isinf’ must be available [-fpermissive]
if ( isinf(m) && j<10 ) cout << "(cell->info().kNorm())[j2] =
" << (cell->info().kNorm())[j2] << " cell->neighbor(j2)->info().p() =
" << cell->neighbor(j2)->info().p() << endl;
^

Reverting to the patch I uploaded with 1.20.0-8ubuntu1, and the same
as I attached to this bug, fixed the build.

Regards
Graham

python-escript_4.2.0.1-1_amd64.changes REJECTED

2016-05-22 Thread Thorsten Alteholz

Hi Joel,

unfortunately I have to reject your package.
Please add the license information of:
 doc/user/listings.cfg
to your debian/copyright.

Also there is no need to add the complete license text of the Apache license
to your debian/copyright.
As this license is available in /usr/share/common-licenses/, it is fine to
just add a pointer to that file. For example:

License: Apache-2.0
 Licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0 (the "License");
you may not use this file except in compliance with the License.
You may obtain a copy of the License at
 .
 http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0
 .
Unless required by applicable law or agreed to in writing, software
distributed under the License is distributed on an "AS IS" BASIS,
WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or implied.
See the License for the specific language governing permissions and
 limitations under the License.
 .
On Debian systems, the complete text of the Apache version 2.0 license
 can be found in "/usr/share/common-licenses/Apache-2.0".

Thanks!
 Thorsten

Description:
libhealpix-cxx-dev - representation of spherical data - C++ development library
libhealpix-cxx0 - representation of spherical data - C++ shared library
libhealpix-cxx0-dbg - representation of spherical data - C++ library debug

Changes:
 healpix-cxx (3.30.0-1) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * New upstream version.
   * Use Automake serial build test harness. Automake's default, parallel
test harness does not print the test's output to stdout. This makes it
difficult to debug unit test failures. Since this package has only a
single unit test, we lose no speed by using the serial test harness that
 does send output to stdout.

chealpix_3.30.0-1_amd64.changes ACCEPTED into unstable

2016-05-22 Thread Debian FTP Masters

Accepted:

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA256

Format: 1.8
Date: Thu, 19 May 2016 17:47:39 -0400
Source: chealpix
Binary: libchealpix-dev libchealpix0 libchealpix0-dbg
Architecture: source amd64
Version: 3.30.0-1
Distribution: unstable
Urgency: medium
Maintainer: Debian Science Team

Changed-By: Leo Singer
Description:
libchealpix-dev - HEALPix representation of spherical data - C development
library
libchealpix0 - HEALPix representation of spherical data - C shared library
libchealpix0-dbg - HEALPix representation of spherical data - C library debug
symbol
Changes:
 chealpix (3.30.0-1) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * New upstream version.
   * Use Automake serial build test harness. Automake's default, parallel
test harness does not print the test's output to stdout. This makes it
difficult to debug unit test failures. Since this package has only a
single unit test, we lose no speed by using the serial test harness that
 does send output to stdout.
   * Update Standards-Version to 3.9.8.
