Hi,

what are the chances of #599095 being fixed soon? This bug currently
blocks VLC[1][2] from migrating to testing which would fix some
important security issues[3][4] (DSA 2211-1 [5]).

Are there plans in the works for addressing CVE-2011-0997, or are Squeeze and
Lenny not affected for some reason?
