Just man faxadduser can make you happy I guess :)

faxadduser and faxdelusers tools manage the hylafax auth files
/etc/hylafax/hosts.hfaxd
/var/spool/hylafax/etc/hosts.hfaxd

You can easily configure it to access it from other hosts.
Ex faxstat -h myfaxserver. Don't forget to define passwords.
Usernames defaults to the current (unix/linux) user.

I strongly recommend you to read the very usefull HylaFax Handbook
http://www.hylafax.org/content/Handbook

as ldap edirectory etc)

Access is denied while trying to connect to the hylafax server from clients.
i just made a module called hylafax and copied others to it.( i tried it
with others also). The auth.log says that
 (Apr 18 05:03:19 localhost HylaFAX[4057]: (pam_unix) authentication
 failure; logname= uid=0 euid=10 tty= ruser= rhost= user=admin

what entries should i make to solve this problem. Please reply.

Your question would be more appropriate on one of these lists:

http://www.hylafax.org/content/Mailing_Lists

or on debian-user
