That's good news! One of my servers was on his extortion list. In fact, all IP addresses of that provider were. They and I refused to pay. Regarding this bug, it's normal that RBLs are taken down and then blacklist the entire address space. I've had this happen with my RBL checker every few months. This bug really should have critical or release-critical as severity level. It almost caused an production box with debian sarge to break.
