Re: Please push missing commits for forensics-extra and hashrat

It depends on what you have to do. If you worked in git to prepare your last upload and and have a diverging history, you can just "git pull" and you will merge those two commits. If you have to import the .dsc to resolve the situation then you can import the .dsc in another branch: $ git branch temp $ gbp import-dsc --debian-branch=temp $ git merge temp > > I also wonder if you are subscribed to the team mailing list: > > https://lists.debian.org/debian-security-tools/ > > I signed up, now I'll be more active there. forensics-* 2.0?
Hello team, We have 2 meta-packages that will need a thorough review after merging forensics-devel and pkg-security. forensics-all has a script that generates d/control according to the maintainer field that was previously "Debian Forensics" forensics-extra was created entirely "by hand". I imagine this is the time to review how these packages will be created. What is the best way? cheers, -- Giovani Ferreira 0x78494EF72375A66C signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

With the merging of forensics-devel and pkg-security I got lost within the changes in the communication and stopped receiving some notifications about my packages. Due to my job being quite hard in recent months I left my packages in background and today I saw that exifprobe received an NMU. > Yet we are getting better tools to track all our packages, notably > with the new tracker.debian.org team overview: > https://tracker.debian.org/teams/pkg-security > > We also have an IRC channel that will soon receive notifications of bugs > and uploads (it already has notifications of commits). Please push missing changes grr-client-templates/libevt/nmap
Hello Hilko, the git repositories of grr-client-templates, libevt and nmap are lacking the changes (and tags) corresponding to your last upload(s). Can you push them? Re: Removing lcrack from Debian ?
Hi Raphael, no objections here. Let me know if you want me to ask for removal + update forensics-extra package. Removing lcrack from Debian ?
Hello, I would like to suggest to remove lcrack from Debian. The software has not evolved since 2004 and upstream website has disappeared. There are better alternatives to crack passwords such as hashcat and john. However forensics-extra does depend on it, it would have to be updated first. Are there any objections?
