Did you open pavucontrol to verify that your soundcard is actually
unmuted and the volume sliders are up?

audio Sun CS4231

2018-07-09 Thread sacarde
hi,
   I installed Debian sid into my Sun-ultra10...
"alsamixer" looks good, but inserting headphones in rear audio-connectors
I do not hear anything...
I have to do somethings into openboot or hardware audio-connectors?

running: "aplay -a" I view this:

 List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices
xcb_connection_has_error() returned true
XDG_RUNTIME_DIR (/run/user/1000) is not owned by us (uid 0), but by uid 1000!
(This could e g happen if you try to connect to a non-root PulseAudio as a
root user, over the native protocol. Don't do that.)
card 0: CS4231 [Sun CS4231], device 0: CS4231 [CS4231]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

can you help me?

thank you
