donation: SunBlade 100

2002-08-20 Thread Mako Hill
I've been contacted by user who is strongly considering donating a
SunBlade 100 and who's interested in having it used by a developer to
"further polish up [Debian's] sparc64 distribution?"

It's in perfect working order with a mouse, keyboard, and even a
monitor to go with it if necessary. If you think you could put it to
good use, contact me personally.

The donor is in the United States in CT and geographic proximity is, as
always, an important consideration.

Yes, I realize that an alphastation is a not a sparc. Just got a
couple donations confused and sent that to the wrong list. :) Sorry
about that.

donation: alphastation 255

2002-08-19 Thread Mako Hill
I've been contacted by a group who have an alphastation 255 that
they'd be very happy to donate to Debian. The machine has 64MB of
memory and 1GB disk.

If there's a developer or project who could put this machine to good
use, please get in contact with me. The donors are in France and, as
always, proximity is a plus.
