tftp boot information
Hi, last tftp boot image seems to look for an IP-config at startup (like dhcp server) is that right ? X server problem (SunMouseProc ??)

problem with libc while compiling, did I miss something ?
Updated my linuxbox this morning with new libc6 2.95.10.0.1 though this was the 'non buggy' one. Hi, I'm using a 2.2.14 kernel, and potato packages, ldconfig does a Seg fault. A funny thing, is that is works the first time, and seg fault after a second try !? I really don't know what happend, It started while I was updating packages this morning (the last udapte was 2 weeks ago) so my system is in a very bad state for now. Any idea ? max

Trying to do a mkisofs with the el-torito flags won't work on sparc. This way of making bootable CD is an ugly PC thing du to a dirty BIOS conception. problem while installing debconf
for several versions now, dpkg -i debconf returns an error message: Unpacking replacement debconf ... (RDI powerlite laptop) It seems to be a hardware problem, I never understand if it was because of a non-standard floppy drive or controler. I heard that someone in Redhat team tried to resolve the problem, but it was 2 years ago and I lost his name. Anyway, the problem still exists so I guess he didn't find a solution.
