Hi, It would be handy for those of us silly folks running SS4s and SS5s to have TCX as a console driver as well.
The relevent section has: CONFIG_FB_CGSIX=y # CONFIG_FB_BWTWO is not set CONFIG_FB_CGTHREE=y # CONFIG_FB_TCX is not set CONFIG_FB_CGFOURTEEN=y # CONFIG_FB_P9100 is not set CONFIG_FB_LEO=y All the other choices seem sensible, though I don't know how many CG3s are still in use. For that matter I can't imagine too many folks use a LEO but who knows. OTOH, all SS4s and many SS5s have a TCX. If we're going to have LEO, we probably can live with having TCX as well.
