Ok, this is getting weird. I've installed the RedHat 6.2's kernel kernel-2.2.14-5.0.sparc.rpm and the lockups disappeared. What are they doing defferently ? Are there any special patches or could this be a compiler or libraries issue ? strange... Sergey. I tried, but I only get a bunch of garbage printed out (garbage to me, but probably legitimate output for someone familiar with strace).
