Asking the question on debian-cd might have been more effective...

Anyway, I've asked and they can be found here:

Did you try Debian Sarge (=3.1)? At the time I installed Debian on my SS5 
Woody was the stable release, I did not test Sarge with sparc 32 bit yet.

Woody packages are called oldstable now, I couldn't find CD images, too. But 
I did not try very hard ;-)
