Setiathome crashes Woody

Hi folks,

I installed the most current setiathome package via apt-get also making 
sure I had all the upgrades for woody installed. I'm running it on a Sun 
UltraSparc2. Setiathome starts out ok and downloads the data files but 
as soon as it begins processing, the machine freezes up and I have to 
cycle power to regain control. Any ideas?

Clearly a government consipracy to keep you from finding out about
our visitors from other worlds. :)


Nothing should freeze the machine like that.  I assume Stop-A doesn't
work either?  Sounds like either a hardware or kernel problem.  If you
have another Ultra2, you might try putting the disk in the other machine
to rule out hardware.  Otherwise, you can try another kernel version
to see if that helps out any.

It happens on my U5 (270-Mhz, 64MB) as well.
