timeout =

in /etc/silo.conf will make it continue booting after sitting at
the prompt for a bit.

Install the xntp3 package and point it to your ntp server(s).

Silo Needs the keyboard hit on reboot....

1998-06-12 Thread John Westerdale
Hi All,

Probably an old question, but.

How can I get my Sparc IPX to pass by the SILO Boot:
pause on boot (just hafta hit return?!?!?). Is there an
/etc/silo.conf entry? a NVRAM thing?

  Another from same (???)

How about a more curable time set on boot? Should I point it to
one of my SGI or Solaris boxes to get NTP?

Thanks... John Westerdale

Would make linux/server more durable/reliable
