To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.

Bonjour, Le dimanche 29 juin 2008 21:45, Remi Suinot a écrit : bonsoir; Chez moi: $ dig suinot.org [...] ;; Query time: 12 msec ;; SERVER: 192.168.3.1#53(192.168.3.1) ;; WHEN: Sun Jun 29 20:44:27 2008 ;; MSG SIZE rcvd: 77 Le temps de réponse très court me laisse penser que la requête est traitée localement (sur ton lan).
Na verdade, usando o comando lspci, aparece o seguinte: 00:19.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Unknown device 294c (rev 02) 06:00.0 Ethernet controller: Sundance Technology Inc / IC Plus Corp IC Plus IP100A Integrated 10/100 Ethernet MAC + PHY (rev 31) A primeira é a placa onboard. None of the Goggle stuff is very helpful. I'm not at all sure that messing about with /etc/fstab would help. I don't seem to be alone with this one. This is robust if a newer kernel changes the device nodes (e.g. from /dev/hda to /dev/sda). You can use the blkid utility to find out the UUIDs of your partitions, or you can set your own labels with e2label (and mkswap -L for the swap partition). To give you an example, I labeled my root partition root and this is the corresponding fstab entry: LABEL=root / ext3defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1 If you want to use UUIDs then the syntax is UUID=. You can try this with only your backup partition first to see if it works, i.e. if the 2.6.23 kernel mounts it correctly if the fstab entry refers to the label or UUID instead of /dev/hda1. The corresponding syntax for /boot/grub/menu.lst is # kopt=root=LABEL=root ro (plus other boot options that you might want to pass to the kernel) I would first try to switch to labels or UUIDs completely (including root) with 2.6.23. If you subsequently run into a problem with 2.6.25 then you may have to boot into 2.6.23 once more and change every reference in /boot/grub/device.map from /dev/hdX to /dev/sdX. I was able to dig upto /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpuX/cpufreq/affected_cpus. This file says which CPUs should scale together. Since file is read only even to root I think it's an unconfigurable option. I also found that cpu frequencies are adjusted by cpufreq_acpi module and I cannot find any configuration related to it files in my system (with my current knowledge). The weird thing is I'm running an exact clone of this system in my office with a core2duo system which scales its cores independently. Gigabit Notebook Adaptor for networking Debian
I have an antique Gateway Solo 1100 laptop, in mint condition, running Debian Linux. I would like to use it to administer my headless internet server (also running Debian).
