Si c'est pur email, alors roundcube peut suffir. Il a l'avantage d'être léger et facile à installer. La tendance est tout de même au groupware centralisé avec contact agenda et tâches synchronisable avec tout une batterie de smartphones/pda/clients mails différents. Horde webmail groupware edition sait faire tout ça, et s'intègre bien à un IMAP/postfix existant. fortement paramétrable moyennant un petit effort. Pas de paquet debian par contre. C'est pourquoi je suis revenu à celui-ci après avoir testé plein de webmail (roundcube,squirelmail,atmailopen...) Zimbra dans sa version open source est top si on a un serveur costaud, mais difficilement intégrable à un existant. Je me suis vite perdu dans la configuration. Hej, może ktoś będzie wiedział, bo mnie się już pomysły wyczerpały. Czasami widzę w logach że lists.klubvolvo.org.pl rzuca błędem 451 i tymczasowo nie przyjmuje maili od mojego exima, problem w tym że mój serwer ma obsługiwać klubowe konta pocztowe i tempo docierania maili na listy klubowe jest dość istotne. Wykręciłem do maximum czasy powtórek dla tego hosta, zmieniłem flush kolejki na dwie minuty i jakoś działa. Tyle, że kilku kolegów którzy mają różne serwery nie zaobserwowali w logach żeby lists.klubvolvo.org.pl odrzucał pocztę od nich z takim błędem. Patrząc do kodu qmail-queue, widać taką linijkę: if (chdir(auto_qmail) == -1) die(61); Problem w tym przypadku znaczy więc tyle, że qmail-queue nie może wejść do katalogu domowego. Buenos días, listeros!!! Acabo de resolver un problema que tenía con la compilación de kernel (el 2.6.30.10) y pues al parecer se tiene que cambiar el hda por sda al hacer *gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst* y, pues, logro arrancar Debian (no soy muy ducho en el tema, así que, acepto correcciones); aunque, tengo entendido, ese cambio debe ser automático (¿qué debo hacer durante la configuración del nuevo kernel para que ese cambio surta efecto?). Ahora tengo otro problema: resulta que, cuando hago el cambio de hda a sda, mi unidad de cdrom lee el disco y puede mostrarme su contenido, sin embargo, cuando me paro en el directorio */media/cdrom0 *y dar el comando *ls, *no me muestra nada (el resto de mis directorios si me muestran su contenido con dicho comando). Como quien dice, ¿qué fue lo que me cargué para que no pueda ver el contenido de un CD desde el terminal? Desde ahora gracias mil!!!

ClamAV ha dejado de funcionar
(Antes de nada, decir que tengo el servidor de correo configurado siguiendo las instrucciones para Postfix + Dovecot del ISPmail tutorial para Debian Etch de Christoph Haas. Evidentemente el servidor es Etch, claro.) Repentinamente, hoy a la 1:00 ClamAv ha empezado a dar una serie de problemas con la creación del socket y no permitía la entrega del correo electrónico. He tenido que, en /etc/amavis/conf.d/15-content_filter_mode comentar la línea @bypass_... para quitar el antivirus y que continue entregando el correo, pero claro, no es plan. Estamos sin antivirus ahora. Si reinicio el clamav-daemon me da un warning donde dice que está outdated. Hace un par de semanas ya lo actualicé a la versión 0.95.3, que creo que ya está libre del bug aquel, ¿no?. Hace dos semanas aquella actualización resolvió el mismo problema que ahora ha vuelto a surgir. ¿Qué puede estar pasando, cómo lo puedo solucionar? Muchísimas gracias. Por los foros la gente comenta problemas con la detección de esa tarjeta. Lo curioso es que dicen que lo han solucionado seleccionando en la BIOS el modo de compatibilidad del bus SATA (¡¡ojo!! con un kernel instalado hacer este cambio en la BIOS puede requerir volver a generar la imagen del kernel para poder iniciar el sistema. Si se usa un sistema de arranque dual -windows/linux- también puede dar problemas con windows, así que antes de hacer nada, mucho cuidado, leer el manual de la BIOS para saber qué es ese modo de compatibilidad -¿será el modo de compatibilidad IDE? :-?- y tener un plan de contingencia preparado). 'localhost' en un host remoto no es igual que 'locahost' en el servidor. ¿Porque indicando la ip del servidor no funcionó? Agradecería enormemente que alguien me explicara esto o me remitiera a alguna parte donde lo expliquen. Mil disculpas. Creo que no supe explicarme. Cuando montaba un disco en la unidad cdrom, salía una ventana que decía *cdrom0 *en la barra de título. Esto cuando tenía el kernel 2.6.26-2-686 que viene de serie en Debian Lenny. Cuando compilé e instalé el kernel 2.6.30.10 , introducía el disco en la unidad y salía nuevamente la ventana y, al dar el comando *ls *parado en el directorio* /media/cdrom0 , *no me mostraba nada... a!!!, pero nunca me detuve a ver la barra de título de la ventana que mostraba el contenido del cd y ya no era *cdrom0 , *sino que ya me muestra la etiqueta del cd, en este caso *VBOXADDITIONS_3.1.6* y, por lo tanto, el directorio es ahora */media/VBOXADDITIONS_3.1.6 *y, pues, al dar * ls*...ta tn, ya podía ver el contenido del directorio. **Tengo instalado Lenny en una máquina virtual de VirtualBox. La razón por la que he estado compilando el kernel es porque al instalar las GuestAdditions, sí las instala, pero me manda antes un mensaje de que no se activará el soporte para OpenGL a menos que tenga un kernel 2.6.27 o mayor. Todo por querer ver los efectos de CompizFusion (que no puedo aún activarlos) y, como tenía una maquina virtual con Ubuntu donde si podía tener los efectos, pues quise probar si era posible activarlos en Debian. Espero no haberme extendido demasiado y Gracias mil!! PD. Dúvida com inittab
Olá pessoALL, estou com uma dúvida para configurar o /etc/inittab. Eu preciso adicionar a execução de uma aplicação em modo respawn, no entanto, a aplicação que será executada depende do diretório que será montado na linha de cima: Exemplo: --- null::sysinit:/bin/mount -a # monta utilizando o fstab null::respawn:/home/aplicacao.elf # executa a plicação Entenderam ? O correto é a aplicação ser executada somente quando a montagem estiver ok. A montagem é um pouco demorada por ser uma memória NAND e a aplicação é executada antes de finalizar a montagem do dispositivo (ocasionando erro). Existe alguma forma da aplicação ser executada só depois que o ponto de montagem estiver ok ? Essa aplicação necessariamente tem que rodar no inittab/respawn ? bom, acredito que dessa forma que vc está implementando (aplicação depende de um ponto de montagem) acho muito difícil dar certo, ou ficará instável na inicialização, ou seja, hora pode dar certo e hora não. Vc pode controlar isso através de script na crontab. Quando eu coloco a inicialização no /home/profile funciona, o problema é que eu queria uma solução com o respawn, ou seja, se der crash executa novamente. replacing hardware raid with software raid
Hi, i created a raid-5 array with a LSI MegaRaid 150-6 controller (i used 4 sata drives). Is it possible to use the array without the hardware raid controller with linux software raid/ mdadm? I think a read something about that, but i can't find it anymore. Mdadm does not autodetect the array. Do i have to provide a raid-configuration manually? Another problem could be, that the raid configuration on the discs is destroyed (i think the data is still ok, but the raid configuration data stored on the discs could be damaged). Is there a possibility to restore it? (I have a backup of the data from the raid array. To bypass a possible kdm problem, you could try to use another login manager (gdm or xdm) and see how it goes :-? If so, you should be able to purchase a new (I noticed the 150 is past EOL) similar MegaRAID card, drop it in, enter its BIOS, and have it scan the drives for the RAID configuration, then save it, and reboot. (Link to a new in box LSI 150-6 on Ebay is below) This is precisely why American Megatrend's RAID division (now a division of LSI) implemented writing the RAID configuration to the disks themselves instead of only keeping it in nvram on the card. This facilitates replacing a failed controller card without having to restore from tape or other backup media. The SCSI AMI MegaRAID cards from the late 1990s had this feature (I still use one of them, a three channel model 428). But IIRC back then you had to replace the failed card with an identical model. Today, I'm pretty sure you can use any card in the series which has the same basic BIOS. It doesn't have to be the exact BIOS rev, but it has to be the same BIOS code family IIRC. Call LSI and tell them what's up. They should be able to assist you with getting the correct controller to replace yours and get your array going again without needing to restore from tape. If you're just wanting to go to software RAID after a controller failure, you have no choice but to connect all the drives to a standard SATA controller, wipe the drives, then partition them or setup LVM groups, then use mdadm to create a new array. Then you'll need to restore from tape or other media if you have backups. If you have no backups, for all practical purposes, your data is lost. If you have a few tens of thousands of dollars, I'm sure some of the data recovery companies could correctly reassemble the data. But if you have such financial resources, you'd just buy another LSI card and get back up and running with little pain or cash outlay. It's named differently, but what's the basic difference between the control panel and the system settings. Please do not judge KDE4 by not being a copy of KDE 3.5. If that was the case, there would be no point in making a new version anyway. The important question is whether KDE lacks functionality that should be there (this includes, but is not limited to, functionality present in KDE 4) and if that's the case, file a bug report. But of course, don't be bothered if the functionality *looks* different. Again, if all the functionality would look the same, there would be no point creating a new version. This is because you don't have the md driver _in_ the kernel You'll need a small i.e. 20-30MB partition out of raid to boot from with i.e. initrd which loads the md driver and your raid device becomes visible. Procmail: re-sort all messages
Hi, I've just installed fetchmail → procmail → mutt → msmtp chain and want to configure procmail properly. Of course, I can't write all the rules in the right way from scratch, so there must be some testing. The only way to check how rules works is actually run procmail and see what happens. Here is where problems starts. I have about 165 Mb of mails in my GMail box. The only way (known to me at least) to test procmail rules is to invoke this: $ fetchmail -ak -m /usr/bin/procmail -d %T But that requires downloading of mentioned amount of mails, which is quite long operation. So here is what I'm looking for: is there a way to run procmail on already downloaded messages? Maybe I should download them to separate directory and run procmail on it? Maybe I can just pass existing (already sorted) mail directory to procmail for re-sorting? I hope there are some way to do that. In your case if the md driver is not compiled into the kernel But the RAID will be useless then... No because you can have those 30MBs backuped and restored easily - the raid is holding the data. Replacing Exchange has not been a problem but replacing Outlook has been. Honestly, the blame does not lie all in one place. It is the interaction between the client solutions (Kontact/Evolution) and the Exchange replacement (Zimbra in our case). I'm hoping we do not need to replace Zimbra with something else that interacts better as we really do like Zimbra and think the recent VMWare acquisition will make it even better. Having upgraded iceweasel, I am no longer able to call firefox or mozilla from command line any more. If I understand correctly, you cannot find executable. I encountered similar on my bsd box, when file changed the name to firefox3. After a bit of climbing up and falling down, the answer has shown. If the question is: what is an alternative to firefox, I could say: conkeror. Depends on libxul. Almost the same look and feel, but no tables nor bars. I recompiled from the source both lib and the browser. I assume for debian already may be found the binary file. If I missed the point, sorry. Hi, I have some videos, with different encodings, whose soundtrack is interesting for me. How can I extract the related sountracks in an easy way? I tried with VLC, but to no avail, as VLC either creates another file, with the desired extension (e.g. mp3), but with the same content (i.e. video + sound), or simply creates some corrupted file.
