Signe euro et PDF
Bonjour, Je rencontre un petit soucis avec certains PDF, c'est l'affichage du signe euro (€) dans des documents pdf, il est remplacé par un carré à l'écran et n'apparaît pas du tout à l'impression ! J'ai le même problème avec okular et evinct donc je pense à une cause commune... Le dernier document en date, la police est de l'Hevetica et de l'Helvetica Bold. J'ai tester dans libreoffice en mettant la police en helvetica et le signe euro apparaît bien ! Wheezy Freeze sur Dedibox SC
Hello, J'ai un gros soucis avec Wheezy les Dedibox SC depuis quelques semaines. Tout fonctionnait parfaitement en Squeeze. Il y a 3 semaines, je réalise l'upgrade d'une Dedibox vers Wheezy. À partir de ce moment là, le serveur devient instable. Il freeze à intervalles irréguliers. Pas moyen de reprendre la main dessus: plus d'accès réeau, plus de ping, plus aucun services (mail) accessible. Seule possibilité: reboot via la console Online. J'ai demandé et obtenu un KVM. Lorsque le serveur est inaccessible, pas moyen de réveiller la console. Bien entendu, rien dans les logs. J'ai installé le noyau de Jessie (3.10) en lieu et place du 3.2 de Wheezy. Pas mieux De guerre lasse, j'ai commandé un nouveau serveur en me disant que mon install Squeeze était foireuse et que l'upgrade en Wheezy avait introduit un comportement bizarre. Ce dernier a fonctionné parfaitement pendant 3 semaines. Ce soir je réalise la migration du serveur de mail après forces synchro des boites. Et là, le drame: le nouveau serveur est lui aussi devenu instable. Je ne comprends plus rien et ne vois pas comment m'en sortir. Les Services actifs sur le serveur: - Postfix - Dspam avec le stockage fichiers - Dovecot en configuration utilisateurs virtuels - policy-spf - opendkim - policyd-weight - milter-greylist - clamav daemon - prosody - Nginx - Munin (serveur) - Smokeping Je n'ai pas l'impression d'avoir trop chargé le serveur, d'autant que tous ces services tournaient aupravant sous Squeeze sans soucis aucun Je suis preneur de toutes les bonnes idées. Je pense donc que le problème n'est pas noyau, mais plutôt libc. En tout cas, pour moi ça se déclenche sous forte charge réseau. Ma solution, prendre un Kimsufi chez le concurrent, avec un proc Atom, plus standard. Pas de soucis avec. A noter que les PDF embarquent ou pas la police. C'est sur tous les documents PDF ? Si has instalado el sistema desde una llave USB es normal que el instalador la añada al /etc/fstab (hace lo propio con las unidades ópticas y los discos duros que detecta), vamos, que a priori no veo ningún error en eso. Si tras instalar Debian conectas la llave, el sistema te la montará respetando los datos y valores que haya en el fstab para ese volumen (el fstab tiene prioridad) y en caso de que no hubiera coincidencias -y siempre que uses algún entorno de escritorio o una aplicación que gestione los volúmenes extraíbles- se montaría bajo /media con el nombre de la etiqueta que tenga (o el identificador, en su defecto) y con los permisos habituales con el usuario como propietario. Ciertamente, virtualbox no es muy santo de mi devoción (de hecho lo considero un producto bastante insulso) que no me planteo utilizar ni a nivel profesional ni a nivel usuario, salvo por una excepción: virtualizar sistemas Solaris-like, que junto con Oracle VM, es el que mejor lo hace (pero por algo es porducto Oracle :)). Lo de importar ... pues no lo sé, puede que funcione (y en principio debería, no se me ocurre un motivo por el cual no, ya que el tema de la gestión de dispositivos usb no tiene nada que ver con una migración), pero no lo he probado. De todas formas, veo que tienes varios iconitos en la bandeja del sistema, es decir, aplicaciones en segundo plano que en un momento dado se pueden desbocar o empezar a tirar de CPU. O tienes la maña de Apple y usas componentes de alta calidad (aluminio) o te buscas unos cascos u optas por unas especificaciones más comedidas y micros menos potentes para portátiles de bajo voltaje (p. ej. si te gusta Intel hay Core i3/i5/i7 con un TDP 12W). De todas formas, y dado que la compra es reciente, convendría que les consultaras directamente. Lo tendré en cuenta si no consigo reducir el ruido. Bien, pero tienes que tener datos en la mano además de tus apreciaciones acústicas :-) es decir, tienes que conocer la temperatura de todos los sensores que tengas instalados (micro, caja, chipset, discos duros...) así como de la velocidad de giro de los ventiladores para saber si realmente alguno de esos valores están fuera de rango. La versión PUEL de VirtualBox (no la OSE) te permite usar desde la MV una instalación existente en otra partición, sin necesidad de instalar el SO huesped en un disco virtual de la MV. Revolvé un poco en el sitio de VirtualBox y la encontrarás. Es también gratuita, como la OSE, pero te pide un compromiso de que no la usarás con fines comerciales. El tema es que es un comportamiento no esperado. Entiendo que el instalador añada al fstab todas las unidades que están presentes durante la instalación. Pero para un usuario no experimentado no tendría ninguna lógica que no pueda usar los contenidos de un usb por no ser el propietario del dispositivo; y menos tendría idea de como solucionarlo. El instalador debería evitar incluir al puerto usb dentro del fstab durante la instalación. Pero me imagino que es un tema que escapa a esta lista. Duda sobre backup mysql

Fwd: Owncloud sobre Debian Wheezy
Hola muy buenas, tengo hace tiempo corriendo un owncloud sobre debian wheezy y la duda o pregunta que tengo es saber si le pasa a más gente, al descargar un archivo de owncloud, si intentas navegar simultaneamente(mientras estas descargando ese archivo) por alguna carpeta, se queda esperando y esperando y no accede hasta que no se completa la descarga. Mi pregunta es si tiene que ver con alguna configuración de apache o es simplemente que owncloud está diseñado así... lm-sensors sólo detecta 2 cpu de 4 debian wheezy testing
No sé si os habrá pasado alguna vez, pero no consigo que lm_sensors me detecte las 4 cpus que tengo. Existirá algun software para linux en modo live cd para intentar hacer un clear cmos?? Echa un vistazo al Hiren's Boot CD, yo lo sé para actualizar la BIOS de un netbook hp-compaq que sólo disponía de un archivo .exe que tenía que eejcutar desde windows, sí o sí... y funcionó perfectamente, quizá tenga alguna utilidad para estos casos. Debian üzerine Raid kurulumu
Değerli üyeler, Ben Debian 7.1.0 amd64 kurmaya çalışıyorum. Kurulumda 4 adet disk kullanıyorum. Raid 5 denedim olmadı. 2 / 2 diskleri ayırıp raid1 denedim yine olmadı. Yapmaya çalıştığım ise şu: Disklerden birini çıkardığımda sistem çalışmaya devam etsin. Yeni bir disk taktığımda raid yapısı gerekli bilgileri yazarken yavaş olabilir ama kaldığı yerden sistemin devam etmesi. Bu mümkün müdür acaba? iPhone'umdan gönderildi

Merhaba, Donanımsal(hardware) raid mi yapmak istiyorsunuz? Yazılımsal(software) raid mi? En kolay yolu danımsal olarak bir raid kartı takıp raid 5,1, 10 kullanabilirsiniz. Elinizde 4 disk olduğuna göre, raid 5 yapacaksanız, 3 disk ile raid5 oluşturmanız, 4 diskide spare olarak tanımlanız. Böylelikle sistem çalışırken3 diski kullanır ve bu 3 diskten bir tanesine bir şey olduğunda 4 cü spare diski aksaklık olan disk yerine kullanıma alır. Yazılımsal olarak kullanacak olursanızda, lvm ve md yi kullanmanız gerekli. Daily downloads with apt / aptitude?
Hi all, I think, I missed a change some time, for I noticed, that when I let my notebook run over night, it shows that all new packages are already downloaded (but not installed). As I cannot remember to have activated cron-apt (although it is installed), I guess it has something to do with /etc/cron.daily/apt or /etc/cron.daily/aptitude. However, this feature is nice, but when was this change implemented. I could not remember, heard abouit it, yet. Would be nice, if someone could enlighten me. Related to this thing another question: Is there already a debian way, to force those new downloaded packages to install, when the system is being shutdown by the user? (Similar like windows does). Sure, why not--I've never used strace, so I've started running kmail under strace with a tail -f running on the output file. I think it will take me a while before I have much idea of what strace might be telling me, but it can't hurt me to learn a little more. (Well, maybe it can hurt me ;-) Possibly set up another email account with say yahoo or use your isp email account (eg forwarding/copying all your gmail email, so that you know it will have email in it of some sort) and test picking up email from this new account, immediately after, and only after, you find the gmail pop/imap stops working (so you know there is email in there to pick up). Yeah, much harder now that it seems to self-correct with the static IP address, but something to think about, either if it recurs or if I develop an extreme interest in digging deeper into the problem. Hmm, on the other hand--yeah, maybe I will give that a try, but probably not very quickly. The problem has been a bugger to deal with, partly because of the 48 hours between occurrences. Because of your high occurrence latency, you might set up two or three of these alternate accounts, but at least one alternate account would hint at whether it is possibly limited to being protocol (pop/imap) / MUA related (and therefore a client side issue), or email server specific (gmail). I usually boot into single user mode, run backups then updates then continuing booting to desktop (xfce). Based on the output Lisi provided, I'd say that's the case. The output from paplay shows what I would expect. It seems to be playing all the sound files you gave it to play. Same thing for pactl. Though I'm not a pulse expert by any means, that doesn't have anything obvious that jumps out at me either. It looks like it is as Joel suggests, your sound is muted, that's the only explanation I can think of. I know you tried alsamixer before you installed pulse, but have you tried it since then? If not, then I suggest you run either amixer/alsamixer, and see if they will let you unmute sound. The following was suggested to me for use as a fairly big font for my failing eyes. -adobe-courier-bold-r-normal--33-240-100-100-m-200-iso10646-1 Is there a method that would backtrack me to the deb containing that font? Perhaps it would work to implement the filtering via iptables or the
particular service configuration?
You can use the iptables `recent` module to eg. allow only 8 ssh
attempts from a source IP in 5 minutes. In ferm syntax (from

Daar lees ik een aanwijziging voor low memory. Ik ben dan ook
iets aan het uitwerken om het geheugen te kort zichtbaar te maken.
Op mijn Squeeze systeem heb ik twee metingen gedaan:
vmstat 2 zondercheck

Dus een dpkg-buildpackage zonder unit checks en een met.
Op de achtergrond werd m.b.v. vmstat geheugengebruik verzamelt.
De tien seconden geduld voordat het eerste achtergrondprocess ( %1 )
werd gestopt, is om het systeem weer in rust te zien. Aan het
begin is dat er ook, dan door de tijd die nodig is door het intypen
van het commando.
De bestanden met de meetgegevens 'zondercheck' en 'metcheck' zijn
overgezet naar een computer waar GNUplot ge-installeerd is.

een toename in vrijgeheugen.
De verwachting was iets te zien zonder tussentijdse pieken.
Misschien dat op het NASje, wat niet veel geheugen heeft, er een andere plaatjes
zonder spikes uitkomt.
