Setting up libxml-libxml-perl (1.56-6)

2004-09-24 Thread Alex C-G
Hi there

I keep having a problem whenever I try to set up libxml-libxml-perl:

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? AFAIK all the dependencies are
satisfied. Using perl 5.8.4-2

mount unable to determine ipod filesystem type, kernel 2.6.5

2004-05-14 Thread Alex C-G
Hi, I just upgraded to kernel 2.6.5-1 and now when i try to mount my
ipod I get the following:

mount: I could not determine the filesystem type, and none was specified

It worked fine with kernel 2.4.22. What can I do to make it work with 2.6?

Got the following from dmesg:

usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using address 2
usb 3-2: device not accepting address 2, error -71
usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using address 3

Thinkpad with 2.6 -- Trackpoint dead

2004-05-09 Thread Alex C-G
Hi, I've just upgraded to 2.6.5-1 from unstable. Using GRUB I can boot
into it fine, except when I get into X the mouse pointer just sits in
the middle of the screen. Moving the trackpoint has no effect

I'm using an IBM Thinkpad G40. Anyone have any ideas?

Incidentally, when using LILO I just get a black screen when trying to
boot 2.6.5. Don't know if that helps

Thanks,
Alex C-G
