Thanks for your advice.

The AMD64 dist. would probably be the best for you

Hello Amrit.

One option of the BIOS of the motherboard was allowing use with much
less speed, I don't understand how much how run this, because install XP
CD don't detect any SATA disk but Linux treat disk as IDE, and now seems
that runs really much more fast, more than twice.

You may want to try pykeylogger it only works in an x enviroment

not too sure if there is a deb package for it (i'm sure there is) but it
doesn't look too hard to install

Good evening,
I shall like knowing how a USB device of storage is managed under Debian and
more generally under LINUX.
Apparently LINUX seems to assimilate the USB to a shape of SCSI.

This is true, linux kernels have been doing that for quite a while now.

How do you do to mount or umount a USB storage device.

mount -t vfat /dev/

With DBIAN there is no modification of the file /etc/fstab when you connect a
USB storage device.

You may want to look into using the automount package, if you wanted to
have your usb or other udev devices mounted automatically.

Thanks

The "kmuto installer" was mentioned earlier on the list.

Do You know how safe it is?

It is save. We assure you. The kumto installer is the main alternative
debian installer and is widely used throughout the debian community.
Loads of people use it and is considered safe.
