shaper problem

2002-05-02 Thread Baris Metin

Hello;

When I try to start shaper I get the fallowing :

tiger:/var/www# /etc/init.d/shaper start
Starting CBQ traffic shaping: RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument
RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument
RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument
RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument
RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument
shaper.

My configuration file is like this :

tiger:~# cat /etc/shaper/cbq-1280.myshaper
DEVICE=eth1,100Mbit,64Kbit
RATE=10Kbit
WEIGHT=1Kbit
PRIO=5
BOUNDED=yes
RULE=192.168.1.2

What can be the problem ?

Also when I try to use the shapecfg with the fallowing commands I get no
error but bandwidth of the clients is not limited. They can download
at 18K.

# shapecfg attach shaper0 eth1
# shapecfg speed shaper0 9600
# ifconfig shaper0 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.1.255 up
