Hi, did you try this?

update-modules ; depmod -a ; /etc/init.d/pcmcia start

This might solve -- or might not.

I'm using the same driver on a Dell Inspiron 3500; I coudn't make
the driver work on Slink, so I'm using Potato and it works fine.

On a potato, you just go /usr/sbin/pcnetconfig and configure your
card; and the files go to /etc/pcmcia/; I don't know where they
are on Slink, though.
