In any case, ISDN usually works with ipppd (as opposed to pppd, note the
i).
For that you have to install the isdnutils package.
Please repost your problem in English in case you are still looking for
help.
I'll translate that (I know Hungarian):
I succeeded in installing my ISDN card in the kernel, but I can't
configure the pppd properly and my ISP uses ISDN.
Below, I'm basically translating what you said to Hungarian.

Lefordítottam a
kérdésedet, úgyhogy ha valaki angolul válaszol, lefordítom magyarra. Eddig
valaki azt mondta, hogy az ipppd-t kell használni pppd helyett;
installállni kell az isdnutils csomagot. Jó szerencsét!

Boot Problem

2000-10-28 Thread Janos Kramar
After installing Debian without any apparent problems and rebooting the
computer without the boot disk, it says:
MBR

L 07 07 07 07 07 07 07 07 07 ... and so forth.
It works fine with the boot disk. I have an hda unused approx. 5GB hard
drive, a hdb dvd-rom, and hdc cd-rom, and an hdd 30GB hard-drive with an
approx. 5GB ext2 partition and swap with Debian on it. What can I do to
get it working properly?

Sorry, I'm new to Linux and probably asking something stupid and obvious;
how would I reinstall LILO?
