Re: Re: No upgrade from 11.3 to 11.4 with apt update/upgrade

2022-08-04 Thread Johan Kröckel
Hi Klaus,

thank you but dist-upgrade had the same result.

'~# rm -R /var/lib/apt/lists/*; apt update; apt upgrade' worked.

Still don't know what was wrong...

Thanks again

Johan

Thank you very much!

2) ~# rm -R /var/lib/apt/lists/* did the trick!

Btw:
1) That's not Ubuntu but the Signal desktop client and the correct
repository. Confuses me all the time as well.

Sorry, that was misunderstandable. I run apt update/apt upgrade daily.

No upgrade from 11.3 to 11.4 with apt update/upgrade

2022-08-04 Thread Johan Kröckel
Hi,
I think I am missing something minor but I don't get it.

My sources.list is:

deb https://deb.debian.org/debian-security bullseye-security main contrib
non-free
deb-src https://deb.debian.org/debian-security bullseye-security main
contrib non-free

deb https://deb.debian.org/debian/ bullseye main non-free contrib
deb-src https://deb.debian.org/debian/ bullseye main non-free contrib

#deb http://deb.debian.org/debian/ bullseye main non-free contrib
#deb-src http://deb.debian.org/debian/ bullseye main non-free contrib

deb http://security.debian.org/debian-security bullseye-security main
contrib non-free
deb-src http://security.debian.org/debian-security bullseye-security main
contrib non-free

deb https://deb.debian.org/debian/ bullseye-updates main contrib non-free
deb-src https://deb.debian.org/debian/ bullseye-updates main contrib
non-free

deb https://deb.debian.org/debian/ bullseye-backports main contrib non-free
deb-src https://deb.debian.org/debian/ bullseye-backports main contrib
non-free

apt update; apt-cache policy base-files gives me:

base-files:
  Installiert: 11.1+deb11u3
  Installationskandidat: 11.1+deb11u3
  Versionstabelle:
 *** 11.1+deb11u3 500
500 https://deb.debian.org/debian bullseye/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Shouldn't base-files (11.1+deb11u4) be already installed automatically?

Thank you

Johan

Package selection for bugreport (suspend, BIOS option, Interrupt remapping)

2019-08-22 Thread Johan Kröckel
Hi,
my system (Thinkstation c20) does not wake up from suspend to ram when
"Interrupt remapping" is enabled in BIOS. Took me some time to find the
problem and I wanted to report a bug. Towards which package should I report
it?
System is Buster.

Regards Johan

I'm not sure if this is a Bug: Etch-BC-Install does not find my USB-CD-ROM

2007-02-08 Thread Johan Kröckel

Hi,
I tried to setup Debian-Etch with the BC-RC1-CD on my Thinkpad x60s with
a USB-cdrom, but the Installer does not find the CD.

Is it a Bug?

Johan Kröckel
