Math packages for the testing branch
Dear Sirs, some mathematical packages (Axiom, Maxima) are for rather long time non-available at the testing distribution. Since many ones (including) me use the testing branch for desktops, it is somewhat hard to deal with it. I am not sure, this is the right list for the question, what is going with it for so long. I would appreciate any idea how to help/move about that. Best regards, Martin Saturka -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: Courier configuration
Hello, thank you and sorry. I try to play with courier at my desktop and I use exim as default. Thus I cyclicly reinstall smtp packages and it takes time. By now, I am able to send email from my desktop through courier, but I do receive messages neither by SMTP nor by IMAP to localhost nor IMAP to remote site. Error message by fetchmail to localhost: --- Enter password for [EMAIL PROTECTED]: fetchmail: mailbox selection failed fetchmail: socket error while fetching from localhost fetchmail: Query status=2 (SOCKET) --- Error message by fetchmail to remote site: --- Enter password for [EMAIL PROTECTED]: 1 message for user at remote.com reading message [EMAIL PROTECTED]:1 of 1 ((706 header octets) fetchmail: SMTP error: 513 Syntax error. fetchmail: mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] bounced to [EMAIL PROTECTED] fetchmail: can't even send to mehere! flushed --- Below are two lines from my /var/log/mail/mail.err --- Oct 22 19:03:47 localcompname courieresmtpd: error,relay=:::127.0.0.1,from=[EMAIL PROTECTED],to=[EMAIL PROTECTED]: 513 Syntax error. Courier configuration
Dear men, I try to no end to make work courier-mta, courier-imap(s), and squirrelmail (possibly with virtual accounts). I have some experience with exim and sendmail. I know, courier uses qmail-like mail dirs. May be, some example working configuration would be nice. Thank you, Martin -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. I have no problems with it on th Roxen webserver. I just do a redirect like /(.*).php3(.*)$ /cgi-bin/php3.cgi/$1.php3$2 So unless you are not more specific (webserver, version, error message in browser and log file, setup you made for php-cgi), noone can help you. I use cern=httpd.deb (30A-2) server from Debian 2.2 (unstable). It looks, I'm not able to do well redirecting. I've got php3 interpreter as /usr/lib/cgi-bin/php3 (php3-cgi.deb). When I try to redirect, it errors (I do just trivial form and I use a variable from it in php3 action file): This server is not configured to handle POST, when I change method to GET: This server does not perform searches. Cgi written in C (without interface to php) works well (with POST method too).

Matt It looks 693, 695 and 697 works. But I've found on HP site, that 692 and 694 are continuing into 890; just distinct series from 695/697. Don't you know whether 692/694 are supported by magicfilter's dj550c too? And 692/694 support from scalable typefaces 35 truetype for windows opposite to 695/697, which support 8 build in fonts (4+4: Courier,CG Times, Letter Gothic, Univers). Does that 692/694 mode work in linux? Thaks, Martin

Boa zombie
I've got httpd boa, but it doesn't run in user nobody:nogroup. (In /etc/boa/boa.conf that's well) It runs 0:0. And it gives daily (by cron) a zombie (that zombie is unkillable nor by kill -9 ... ). Thanks. Martin
