I haven't done any market-research lately but the obvious downside to the Do-it-yourself-approach is the price. You will probably have to expect a bill ranging up from 600-700 to 1200-1400 Euros... Serielles Interface Debian-Suse
Hallo Liste, bei einer WS-Migration von SuSE(10) zu Debian(Etch) habe ich folgendes, seltsames Problem mit dem seriellen Interface. Unter SuSE habe ich mich, aus konsole(1.5.2) heraus, auf ein embedded-Device, mittels minicom(2.1), verbinden können. Dieses konnte ich dann, u.A., resetten, wobei mich dessen U-Boot(1.1.3) mit Hit any key to stop autoboot: vor dem Neustart freundlich fragte ob ich das auch wirklich will ... oder halt ein Prompt haben will um z.B. tftpboot aufzurufen. Was auch prima funktioniert. Unter Debian verhält sich das anders. Minicom Läuft auch in konsole(1.6.4) und verhält sich auch 95% der Zeit identisch. Nur wenn das embedded-Device einen Reboot durchführt und U-Boot seine Frage stellt will das debiansche System meinen any key nicht wahrnehmen. Hab's auch - leider erfolglos -in verschiedenen Kombinationen mit kermit und xterm versucht. Handlen Debian und SuSE das serielle Interface etwa unterschiedlich? Hat irgendjemand 'ne Idee? Nicht das ich wegen so'was zurück zu SuSE muss Cheers Michael

Hallo Liste, ist hier vielleicht 'n bischen OT aber kennt jemand eine Möglichkeit (oder die richtigen Suchworte für google) die Evolution Kontendaten (sprich Servername, Login, wohin mit Sent und ob gefiltert werden soll usw. usf.) zu migrieren? Ist, ab einer gewissen Kontenanzahl, ziemlich mühselig den ganzen Kladderadatsch bei jeder Neuinstallation von Hand einzugeben. Cheers Michael

Auf A ist /proc../ip_forward auf 1. Von Rechner B (mit net 192.186.0.80) mit route add 10.0.0.21 gw 192.168.0.21 und über's lokale Netz klappt's wunderbar. Das geht so natürlich nicht, weil er ja garnicht weiss wie er an das Gateway (aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd) herankommen soll. Daher kann er auch nicht die 10.0.0.21 erreichen. aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd wird A vom ppp bzw. dem ISP zugewiesen. Ist 'ne frei zugängliche IP und kann auch, z.B. im Browser, aufgerufen werden. Ist halt im default mit drin. Die route mit route add aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd gw 192.168.0.1 nochmal händisch nachzutragen führte dazu das B gar nichts mehr fand... Warum willst du überhaupt vom Rechner B, der ja anscheinend im gleichen lokalen Subnetz wie Rechner A hängt, über das externe Internet Device von Rechner A auf die Kamera zugreifen? Äh, ja sorry. Das mit dem selben lokalen Subnetz ist ein testing-Überbleibsel... Wenn's klappt sollen natürlich beide in verschiedenen Netzen hängen. Bitte etwas mehr Input was letztendlich das Ziel sein soll. An Rechner A (irgendwo per ppp im Internet) hängt die Kamera per Crossoverkabel an lokaler Netzwerkkarte. Auf deren Webfrontend möchte ich nun von Rechner B (irgendwo im Internet (hinter Router/Proxy/...)) aus zugreifen. IP-Adresse von As ppp ist B bekannt und umgekehrt auch die von Bs Router bei A. Hab's auch schon mit dem Apachen und rewrite/proxy auf A versucht. Hat leider auch nicht geklappt. Du hast - wenn man vom Apachen 'mal absieht - ja schon alle wichtigen Komponenten laufen. Musst nur noch dafür Sorgen das die halt alle auf die selben Datensätze in Postgres zugreifen. D.h. Du wirst wohl exim und courier auf die OGo-DB umbiegen müssen. Falls so etwas überhaupt geplant ist. Ich würde mich über ein paar produktive kommentare freuen, momentan wirkt für mich Opengroupware am interessantesten da ich es vermutlich am leichtesten integrieren kann. Openexchange scheint auf einem eigenen mailserver mit postfix zu bestehen ... ? Nö. Tut auch mit exim. Und auch mit courier. OXens Installation find' - bzw. fand' (Ist schon 'n Jährchen her. Ich habe vorher nichts angelegt, aber das Verzeichnis /proc ist vorhanden. Platte kopieren ist _eine_ Methode. Hab' ich mit dem System von dem ich diese eMail schreibe auch gemacht. /proc wird beim Start automatisch generiert. Da hängt zwar nicht der Kernel aber allerlei systeminternes Zeug (Infos über IRQs,Prozess-IDs,usw.) rum ... 8-) Wenn Du die /etc/fstab korrekt angepasst hast hab' ich auch keinen Schuss ins Blaue mehr. Hallo Friedrich, geht's um USB-Tastaturen? Hab' da eventuell ein ähnliches Problem. Manchmal verschwindet meine USB-Tastatur während des Hochfahrens. Mit grub spricht sie noch ist aber später dann weg. Hab' das bisher auf meinen KVM-Switch geschoben da nach einem Umschalten zu einem anderen Rechner und wieder zurück die Tastatur wieder da war.
