#9 Revolution 3D AGP card

1998-11-17 Thread Mike Chovan
Hi,

Does anyone know if this card with the T2R chipset works with xfree86??
I've checked the xfree86 site. They state they now support the chipset,
but I can't find much else on it. The #9 Revolution 3D card doesn't
show
up the the Cards database. Is "Ticket to Ride" a company alias for some
other
chipset?

Thanks

Debian on Sparc

1997-08-29 Thread Mike Chovan
Hi,

Does anyone have any info on the Debian port to the Sparc processor??

I've just inherited an old Sparc 1+, and I'd really like to install Debian on
it.

scsi on the 1.1 boot disk

1996-05-10 Thread Mike Chovan
I was curious as to why the new 1.1 boot disk kernels don't seem to have the
scsi
drivers compliled in? I've down loaded the latest disks and tried to boot up a
couple of machines, one with the NCR 53c810 and the other with an Adaptect 2940
scsi
controller, neither kernel pick up the scsi disks. Shouldn't the initial boot
kernels have as many drivers as possible turned on??

Do I have to pass boot parms or make custom bootdisks in 1.1?

Thanks.
