Does anyone know of a similar > program(s) in the Linux world? > LANG=C apt-cache search predict shows among others dasher Package: dasher Description: A graphical predictive text input system Dasher is an information-efficient text-entry interface, driven by natural continuous pointing gestures. Dasher is a competitive text-entry system wherever a full-size keyboard cannot be used - for example, * on a palmtop computer * on a wearable computer * when operating a computer one-handed, by joystick, touchscreen, trackball, or mouse * when operating a computer with zero hands (i.e., by head-mouse or by eyetracker). The eyetracking version of Dasher allows an experienced user to write text as fast as normal handwriting - 25 words per minute; using a mouse, experienced users can write at 39 words per minute. Dasher uses a more advanced prediction algorithm than the T9(tm) system often used in mobile phones, making it sensitive to surrounding context. > Thanks. > Chris > > Bye, Robert - -- ** - -BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK- Version: 3.12 GS dx s: a- C++ UL++ P--- L++ E W++ N+ o K- w O-- M-- V-- PS+ PE-- Y+ PGP++ t+ 5 X- R !tv b+ DI+ D+ G e+++ h+ r++ y++ - --END GEEK CODE BLOCK-- -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkmRlLMACgkQAhMNa+PFqP3AiwCdFeZROjZUJ2TWiddYtV+mOPtS FqgAoIeX5syWqtI+k8kmGrNI0BHnUKE+ =qocI -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". I don't think, that you want to burn with the jaz nor the zip-drive, because they are disk drives. Mount them as usual and you should be fine. If you want your drives to be detected, use hwinfo or discover or similar. -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFHZmoMAhMNa+PFqP0RArWYAJ9lxCwyU6IznuBruLPsQSq11EM0ggCfUKFx ROiVKMCaPKRWq9xho4+HY0I= =wx7t -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
