Trying to get debian to see over 64 meg of RAM
Greetings, I would like to have 128 meg in my debian box but it won't recognize it. I don't see any options during the make config process and the computer physically does see the memory. Any ideas? Lock file for dselect

wu-ftpd and Shadow Passwords
Greetings, Does the compiled version of wu-ftpd have support for shadow passwords. For some reason, as soon as anyone tries to log in (not anonymous) it says there are too many users and dumps you. I recently switched to shadow passwords and didn't know if there was a known problem. Also, I noticed the shadow file had a different group then root and I changed it ... perhaps that had something to do with it but I forgot what the group was. Any help out there? Problem upgrading Debian
Greetings, I have several different problems occurring. 1. I choose the linux source from dselect and it says there is nothing to get. 2. I use ftp.debian.org for the ftp source and I get a broken channel during the execution of the scripts for d/l'ing. I used to be able to get the source on previous versions. I am currently on 3.0. Oh, another problem is I can choose and download Apache but when it tries to process the pkg it aborts during the execution of the script. Any help would be appreciated. -- Tim -- Timothy G.
