Re: How can I make a kernel package that is _identical_ to those available for download?
as far as i know xconfig should read the .config file of the running kernel if there is no other. i have poor experience with that, but it worked for me for a couple of times. something wrong with eog, gthumb and gnome
I'm running debian unstable (upgraded recently) and i have problems with eye of gnome and gthumb - i can't provide any error messages because there is no - both apps just don't display images. also a problem with gnome - i can't change wallpaper - i have the current one, but when i add a new one just nothing happens. somehow i can view *.gif image. strange, isn't it? anyway - pornview is working fine, so i don't have any idea what's wrong thank you. -- Rise Again! -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". GPM + Xfree86
I installed GPM and got it working flawlessly with my Intellimouse PS/2. Now, I start X, and my mouse will refuse to move. I commented out imwheel from my ~/.xinitrc, same result. The only way I can get my mouse to work in X is to kill GPM. Anybody else experienced this ? -- Joel Dinel [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Mutt's alias file
I have the following in my .muttrc : set alias_file=~/.mail_aliases and the following in my ~/.mail_aliases : alias debian-user Debian User List Now, when I fire up Mutt and send an email to "debian-user", exim sends it right back to me, complaining that the local user "debian-user" doesn't exist. What am I doing wrong ? Thanks ! -- Joel Dinel [EMAIL PROTECTED]
