Hi all, I would like to use vim as editor for my Fortran programs. In Fedora vim colorizes the program's text. I would like to have this option enabled on my Debian box as well. What is the solution? Thanks. Hamid

Nun habe ich das Problem, dass ich zwar Wave-files abspielen kann, xmms meldet aber immer (auch als root), dass es das ausgabe-Plugin nicht öffnen könne und so weiter. Auch mit mpg123 kann ich keine MP3s abspielen, mit der Meldung: /dev/dsp -- unable to open device. Kann mir da vielleicht jemand weiterhelfen??? Dann: Du brauchst für OSS-Programme die OSS-Emulation von ALSA. Die steckt im Modul snd-pcm-oss, auch noch nützlich sind snd-mixer-oss und snd-seq-oss. Wenn ich einen neuen Kernel compile, muss ich die alsa-modules dann neu kompilieren??? Herzlichen Dank nochmals!
