To be sincere, I don't even know what is that package intended for (this is the first time I see it). But if you have it in your system it must be for something, right? I think it is not installed by default ;-) There must be information on how this daemon works in the manual or README file and if you don't need it, you can disable it via /etc/ default/readahead-fedora file. I use echo -n 255 /sys/devices/platform/i8042/serio1/serio2/speed in /etc/rc.local file . But when boot , it says: /sys/devices/platform/i8042/serio1/serio2/speed no such file or dirctory .
