Yes, I believe it is the "clean" function that I need ... But how to have the "clean" done automatically after I do updates via 'aptitude'? My previous setup removed *all* files from the cache once installed ... I *want* to "completely empty it". .aptitude/config and Automatic Cache Deletion
[Sarge] It seems in the past I enabled an option in ~/.aptitude/config that would automatically delete all ".deb" files in /var/cache/apt/archives after updating packages. Due to fresh installs, I've lost the file that set this up ... I've looked through documentation and searched the WWW, but can't seem to find how to do it. Can anyone help?
