I'm going to configure the packages that were installed. This may result in duplicate errors or errors caused by missing dependencies. This is OK, only the errors above this message are important. Please fix them and run [I]nstall again Press enter to continue. installation script returned error exit status 100. Press to continue. then i tried to use apt-get dist-upgrade and i got this Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... This means the package 'checker' is in a state that is defined to require dpkg --unpack on the original .deb to get out of. APT is telling you that it cannot find that .deb to unpack so checker can be fixed. You will have to do some manual things with dpkg to fix the checker package, probably removing it with a forcing option. Jason

E: Encountered a section with no Package: header E: Problem with MergeList /var/state/apt/lists/home_mirror_debian_dists_stable_main_binary-i386_Packages E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened. This file that it shows is the Packages.gz descompacted, the same as debian/dists/frozen/main/binary-i386/Packages. What can be wrong and how to fix this?
