This comes from its manpage: -d Tell formail that the messages it is supposed to split need not be in strict mailbox format (i.e. allows you to split digests/articles or non-standard mailbox formats). This disables recognition of the Content-Length: field. So I guess it's supposed to be able to do the things you need to get done. Never used it myself though. Hello, Here's a copy of my .procmailrc file. The only thing it does is split the debian-user digest into its compeonent messages and save them in a mailbox names Mail/debian-user. # .procmailrc # PATH=$HOME/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/ucb:/bin:/usr/local/bin:. MAILDIR=$HOME/Mail # You'd better make sure it exists LOGFILE=$MAILDIR/log :0: * ^Subject:.*debian-user | formail +1 -ds debian-user -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . I use procmail to seperate out the digest from the rest of the mail. The format of the digest is Header stuff Title of digest misc info subjects in digest --- Message #1 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: the date Subject: the subject the message --- Message #2 . . . --- End of Digest *** I'd appreciate any pointers what I need to do. Thanks. Mark [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word unsubscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . Trouble? e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
