-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 Dear list,
As the subject implies I have some issues with the shutdown and/or suspend. My setup is Debian stretch with gnome3, /boot plain and encrypted LVM partition for /, /home and swap. My kernel version is 4.3.0-1-amd64, the list of installed packages is [0] and part of syslog during a shutdown crash [1]. The strange thing is that it seems to happen "randomly" and then I have to shutdown the hard way. Nevertheless, I have noticed that it happens when the laptop is working for "sufficient" time (> 4 hours). When that happens, gnome terminates and it gets stack in the terminal regardless if I shutdown through gnome, pressing the shutdown button or through terminal (tty). In my previous setup, Debian testing (quite outdated) and xmonad everything was working flawlessly. So far I was not able to figure out what provokes this and it's really irritating. I know that I don't give a lot of information but as it happens almost "randomly" it's not easy to reproduce it. In any case, if you need more information ask me.
