Hello all... Can anyone tell me if there is a .deb file for doom, and/or any other game(s) similar to doom for debian. oh yeah ... There's a deb of quake in the non-free section. (I'm the maintainer.)

I patched my DOS Quake files to 1.06. The Linux Quake doesn't work
with the patched file, so I had to install the 1.01 data file that you
also supply.
Have you found the same thing? Perhaps you could warn about this in
your Quake package somewhere...
Linux quake version 1.01 doesn't work with the files from 1.06, you're
right. I will warn about this in the Readme.debian. I hope to get 1.06 for
linux packged sometime, but linus only compiled the xquake program, not
xf86quake, so I've been holding off on it.
